Abstract: This letter presents a novel pre-transformed interleaved frequency division multiple access (IFDMA) transmission structure that improves system performance without the desire of channel information at the transmitter. Simulation results show that the proposed structure can provide improved system performance while only moderately increasing the complexity, and keeping the advantage of a low peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) of the transmitted signal for SISO and MISO channels.
