A blind carrier frequency offset estimator based on the histogram of the received signal's phase is proposed in this letter. The proposed estimator can operate under additive white Gaussian noise and multipath channels without known training signal, redundant guard interval, and virtual carrier. Compared to subspace-based blind estimators, the proposed estimator can provide better mean-square-error performance.
