Neste artigo, propomos uma nova técnica de ocultação de dados para fala codificada em G.711 baseada no método de substituição LSB. A novidade do método proposto é que um codificador de baixa taxa de bits, G.726 ADPCM, é usado como referência para decidir quantos bits podem ser incorporados em uma amostra. Experimentos mostraram que o método superou o método de substituição simples de LSB e o método de incorporação seletiva proposto por Aoki. Alcançamos a incorporação de 4 kbit/s quase sem degradação subjetiva da qualidade da fala e 10 kbit/s, mantendo a boa qualidade.

Abstract: In this paper, we propose a novel data hiding technique for G.711-coded speech based on the LSB substitution method. The novel feature of the proposed method is that a low-bitrate encoder, G.726 ADPCM, is used as a reference for deciding how many bits can be embedded in a sample. Experiments showed that the method outperformed the simple LSB substitution method and the selective embedding method proposed by Aoki. We achieved 4-kbit/s embedding with almost no subjective degradation of speech quality, and 10 kbit/s while maintaining good quality.
