Nesta carta, propomos um conjunto de Códigos de Bloco Espaço-Tempo (STBC) equipados com 4 antenas de transmissão para transmitir um bit de informação adicional atingindo a taxa 9/8. Para manter a propriedade de classificação completa da matriz de ganho de codificação, um novo código STBC ortogonal com taxa total é proposto nesta carta. Os resultados da simulação mostram que este método atinge um bom desempenho de taxa de erro de bit (BER) com uma pequena lacuna em comparação com o caso de taxa 1 e taxa de transferência na região de alto SNR.

Abstract: In this letter, we propose a set of Space-Time Block Codes (STBC) equipped with 4 transmit antennas to transmit one additional information bit achieving rate-9/8. To maintain full rank property of the coding gain matrix, one new orthogonal STBC code with full rate is proposed in this letter. Simulation results show that this method achieves good bit error rate (BER) performance with a small gap compared to that of the rate-1 case and throughput in the high SNR region.
