Neste artigo, apresentamos uma nova técnica de identificação de frequência usando a metodologia recente de detecção compressiva e sequências esferoidais prolatas discretas com concentração ideal de energia. Usando a forma passa-banda de sequências esferoidais prolatas discretas como matriz base na detecção compressiva, é apresentado um algoritmo de detecção de frequência compressiva. Resultados de simulação são apresentados para apresentar a eficácia da técnica proposta para aplicação na detecção de sinais do tipo frequência portadora e reconhecimento de sinais de banda larga em comunicação.
